Innocentrix recognises Altron Karabina for innovation excellence

Innovation League Awards

This year’s Innocentrix Innovation League Awards took place on 27 August 2020, hosted virtually to 96 participants from all over the world. Now in its 6th year of existence, Innocentrix’s South African Innovation League recognises innovation excellence and rewards South Africa’s top innovation leaders. It exists to not only recognise top innovators but also to impact growth and innovation capability building in Africa. The awards were initially scheduled to take place earlier in the year, but due to the national lockdown had to be held virtually.

Altron Karabina along with Altron Group subsidiary Altron HealthTech, City of Cape Town, FNB, Legal Aid SA and Vodacom were nominated in the Innocentrix Innovation League 2019 – 2020 top innovators large organisations category. We are proud to announce that Altron Karabina walked away with second place in this category and would like to congratulate Vodacom for coming in first place, Legal Aid SA for coming in third place and all the nominees who were recognised for delivering innovation value and excellence.

  • Third place: Space Advisory Company

The results were presented by Innocentrix CEO, Henra Mayer, who said, “The winners all demonstrated exceptional capability across all four pillars of the instrument, but were especially strong in the way they collaborated with external stakeholders and supported their people in making innovation happen internally.”
